......I have been designing and constructing original lighting in San Francisco since 1994. For me, creating lighting fixtures was, at first, a hobby. On weekends, I went to the local flea markets and salvage yards. I became particularly drawn to vintage iron and brass lighting parts, primitive Americana and old industrial artifacts, gauges, gears, etc. My workshop walls today are covered with wide variety of vintage parts from which I draw inspiration.

The current product line and custom lighting designs are hand-built to order. Custom projects are collaborations with an outstanding group of Bay Area artists specializing in glass, metal fabrication, and finishing. 

I make every effort to keep my sources local, to reuse and recycle parts, and incorporate energy efficient lighting, when possible and desirable. I strive to make lighting that is comfortable to live with and enduring in design.

Commissioned projects include hotels, residences, restaurants, decorator showcase homes, and have appeared in magazine articles and home furnishings publications.
